Google is enhancing its AI assistant, Gemini, with new capabilities that enable users to inquire about content and video on their screen in real-time.

During the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona, Google introduced a new “Screenshare” feature, allowing users to share their phone’s screen content with Gemini and pose questions about it. For instance, the company demonstrated a scenario where a user shopping for baggy jeans asked Gemini for suggestions on complementary clothing items.

Regarding the video search feature, Google had previously previewed it at Google I/O last year. This feature enables users to record a video and ask Gemini questions about it while filming, leveraging the power of Gemini AI.

Google announced that these features will be available to Gemini Advanced users on the Google One AI Premium plan for Android devices later this month.
