Following the recent rollout of the 13.8 stable version, the new Android Auto 13.9 beta is now available for download. Although Google has not announced any significant new features or changes in this latest beta version, it is expected to include updates to terminology and language, building on the tradition of continuous improvement.

Android Auto 13.9 Beta Version Now Available for Download

The previous Android Auto 13.8 stable version addressed the long-standing issue of wireless connectivity problems, which had been affecting users since versions 13.4 and 13.5. The new Android Auto 13.9 version, currently in beta, appears to be a minor update, but it is likely that Google will introduce additional features and changes in the near future.

Android Auto is one of Google’s most popular services, allowing Android users to connect their smartphones to their car’s head unit, either wirelessly or using a USB cable, enabling them to focus on driving while staying connected.

Recently, Android Auto has received several key updates, including the NACS charging standard for electric vehicles, expanded support for more EV cars, Type 6 and LECCS charging methods, a redesigned media player, a Material You coloring theme, a floating toolbar, and more.
