As February draws to a close, Samsung is poised to conclude the rollout of its February 2025 security update for its Galaxy series. The February 2025 security update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 is now being made available in more regions, including Europe and the US. In Europe, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 have been assigned version numbers F926BXXSAIYB1 and F711BXXSAIYB1, respectively.
In the US, the latest software update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, which includes the February patch, is available for both carrier-locked (T-Mobile) devices with version numbers F926USQS9JYB1 and F711USQS9JYB1, as well as unlocked units with version numbers F926U1UES9JYB1 and F711U1UESAJYB1, respectively.
Although the update does not introduce any significant new features or changes, its primary focus is on enhancing the device’s overall security and core functionality. It incorporates numerous fixes for security vulnerabilities addressed in the previous version, providing users with a safer and more secure experience while protecting the device from potential threats.
In addition to this, the update enhances the stability of the overall system behavior and brings certain performance optimizations, allowing users to enjoy a smooth, optimized, and efficient user experience and functionality.
