The Members operation team has made an official announcement (via community forums) that as of April 1st, 2025, due to changes in the Samsung Members service operation policy, support for the Members app will be ended for Galaxy smartphones running Android 7 (Nougat OS) or earlier versions.
Once the service is discontinued, users will no longer be able to use the Members app on devices with the corresponding operating systems. Going forward, the Samsung Members app will only be compatible with Galaxy devices running Android 8 (Oreo) or higher.
To avoid any inconvenience caused by the permanent shutdown, users are advised to update their devices to the latest software version, if their device is eligible for the update.
In addition to this, Samsung regularly updates the Members app to ensure that the Galaxy community stays informed about their smartphones. However, the company has yet to make an announcement regarding the release of stable One UI 7 for Galaxy S24 series owners, which is still in the beta phase, with two new 4th beta hotfixes already released.
