Samsung is reportedly preparing to launch its Galaxy G Fold (Dual-Fold) smartphone, which may not be unveiled at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event dedicated to the latest foldable devices.

This year, Samsung is expected to introduce several new foldable smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip FE. In addition to these three devices, the company is also rumored to be working on its first-ever dual-foldable phone, aiming to maintain its leading position in the foldable market.

Recently, there were rumors that Samsung might launch the Galaxy G Fold alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 at the Galaxy Unpacked event. However, a new report suggests that this may not be the case.

A reliable source, Max Jambor, shared a post on X, stating that the upcoming Galaxy G Fold may not be launched alongside the seventh-generation foldable smartphones. Although Samsung has not made any official statement regarding this report, it is difficult to predict the exact launch timeline. The rumors suggest that the company may launch the Galaxy G Fold by the end of this year.

Previously, it was reported that the Galaxy G Fold could feature a triple-camera setup, including a 200MP main, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 10MP telephoto camera. It remains to be seen what new features the brand will offer with the upcoming dual-fold phone.
