Samsung is nearing the launch of its next-generation foldable device, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, and CAD renders are already making waves online.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are expected to debut in the early second half of the year. Ahead of the official announcement, our colleagues at Androidheadlines shared Galaxy Z Fold 7 renders, along with some interesting specifications. Let’s take a closer look.

According to the report, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will measure 158.4 x 143.1 x 4.5mm and 9mm when folded, making it 1mm thinner than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Notably, it will be just 0.8mm thicker than the newly launched Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The increase in width suggests that the cover screen will be 6.5 inches, up from 6.3 inches in the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It may feature an 8.2-inch screen, compared to 7.6 inches in the predecessor, which is a significant size jump.

The device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and have a 4400mAh battery, which is the same as the previous generation. The company is also anticipated to offer an upgraded 200MP main camera, although it’s unclear whether it will be the same as the one in the newly launched Galaxy S25 Ultra.

As Samsung has yet to reveal the official specifications of the device, it remains to be seen whether these leaked details will become a reality.
