Samsung is steadily expanding its rollout of the ongoing February 2025 security update for its Galaxy devices to more regions. Following the update’s release for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 in the US a couple of days ago, the company has now begun delivering the patch to the foldables in Europe.

The 4th generation foldables, namely the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, are receiving the latest Android February 2025 security patch, bearing the build numbers F936BXXS9GYA5 and F721BXXS9GYA5, respectively.

As security patches typically do not introduce significant features or changes, their primary purpose is to enhance the device’s overall security and core functionality. The February 2025 security patch from Samsung is no exception.The update mainly incorporates a multitude of fixes that were collectively addressed by Google and Samsung in previous versions, aiming to provide a safer and more secure experience for users while protecting the device against potential attacks and threats. Additionally, the update brings stability to the overall system behavior and introduces performance optimizations for smooth and efficient functionality.

European owners of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 can now download the latest version on their devices, as Samsung has initiated the rollout of the update.
