WordPress.com has unveiled Studio Sync, a new functionality for its local development application, Studio. Initially launched as a free, open-source tool for Mac and Windows users, Studio now boasts seamless integration with WordPress.com courtesy of this update.
Studio Sync enables developers to effortlessly synchronize their local, staging, and live environments with just a few clicks, effectively bridging the gap between local development and live site hosting. Moreover, the feature supports team collaboration, allowing multiple developers to connect their local Studio sites to a shared WordPress.com site.
At present, Studio Sync is exclusively available to users with a WordPress.com Business or Commerce plan. Interested individuals can refer to the documentation to gain a deeper understanding of this feature.
Following the release of Studio, WordPress.com introduced the Studio Assistant – a multilingual, AI-powered chatbot designed to simplify development tasks through an intuitive chat interface.
