The upcoming launch of the Galaxy S26 series by Samsung is expected to take place early next year, but it appears that the Ultra variant may not receive a significant battery upgrade.

The Galaxy S26 series is slated to comprise three models: the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26. Although Samsung has not yet disclosed any official information regarding the specifications and features of the Galaxy S26, numerous leaks and rumors have already begun to emerge in the market.

Recently, there were reports suggesting that Samsung might equip the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a substantial battery upgrade, potentially offering a capacity between 6,000 mAh and 7,000 mAh. However, a reliable tipster, Panda Flash, has posted on X, claiming that Samsung has no plans to offer a 7,000mAh or even a 6,000mAh battery for the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

This implies that the Galaxy S26 Ultra may not receive the anticipated massive battery upgrade. According to the tipster, the internal Samsung Test Lab appears to have a maximum capacity of 5,500mAh.

It was also previously reported that Samsung intends to utilize silicon carbon-based batteries in its next-generation Galaxy S26 devices, which could potentially set a new standard in the market.

However, as there is no official confirmation regarding the battery capacity of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, it remains to be seen whether this report will prove accurate.
