The rollout of the February 2025 security update for Samsung Galaxy devices is underway, with various regions around the world now receiving the update. The company’s flagship model, the Galaxy S24, was among the first to get the update a couple of days ago, while the Galaxy S25 models have also started receiving it recently.

In addition to its newer models, Samsung is also expanding the February 2025 Security patch update to its older foldable devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, Z Fold 5, and Flip 5. The update has been spotted in several European regions so far.

The February patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 bears the version numbers F956BXXS2AYA8 and F741BXXS2AYA8, respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 are receiving the patch with build numbers F946BXXS4DYB1 and F731BXXS4DYB1.

Although Samsung has released details of the February patch, it does not mention any significant new features or changes. The update primarily focuses on addressing security vulnerabilities identified by both Google and Samsung, aiming to provide a secure user experience and protect devices from potential threats.

Beyond security fixes, the update also brings numerous performance optimizations and enhances system stability, resulting in more stable and optimized functionality.

Now that the update is available, owners of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Flip 5, Fold 6, and Flip 6 foldable devices can download the latest version on their devices as soon as it becomes available.
