Samsung has released its latest Galaxy S25 series, which is the first smartphone lineup to feature One UI 7, running on Android 15. Just a week after its release, the company has begun rolling out the first software update for Galaxy S25 smartphones in the US.

The initial software update for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra is the February 2025 security update, which has been spotted on carrier-locked models in the United States.

The latest February 2025 software update is a security patch that has been identified with version numbers S931USQU1AYB3, S936USQU1AYB3, and S938USQU1AYB3 for the carrier-locked models of the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, respectively. These models include T-Mobile, Verizon, MetroPCS, Spectrum Mobile, Comcast, and more. Additionally, the new 2025 flagships have already received the update in Samsung’s home country, South Korea.

The February 2025 security patch does not introduce any major features or changes but includes crucial fixes from both Google and Samsung to address security vulnerabilities. This update provides a safer and more secure user experience while protecting the device against potential threats.
