A newly launched startup is introducing a comprehensive toolset designed to help users manage and grow their presence on Bluesky, a rapidly expanding social network. The subscription-based service, known as BlueSkyHunter, provides an all-in-one online dashboard that offers analytics, post scheduling, and automated direct message (DM) features, among others.

Developed by Borut Udovic, a Slovenia-based developer who outsourced development support, BlueSkyHunter aims to equip Bluesky users with professional-grade growth and analytics tools. This is particularly significant for users who have transitioned from larger social networks like X, where such tools have been readily available for some time.

With over 31.5 million users now on Bluesky, the social network presents a growing opportunity for individual creators, brands, and small to medium-sized businesses. BlueSkyHunter is poised to make it easier for these entities to leverage Bluesky’s potential.

Udovic’s decision to develop a toolset for Bluesky was motivated by the market’s untapped potential. He noted that typically, he finds himself entering a market that is already dominated by large companies. However, Bluesky’s relatively early stage presented an attractive opportunity for him to make an impact.

“Usually, I’m already too late because big companies already have the market share,” Udovic explained. “That’s one of the reasons I went to Bluesky: because it’s still pretty early … so I believe it will be easier for me to enter the market, hopefully.”

While other services focus on scheduling social posts, BlueSkyHunter distinguishes itself by offering a broader range of features. At launch, the service includes a thread composer and a tool for automating direct messages to followers, such as thank-you messages to new followers. An option for sending follow-up messages to non-responsive recipients will also be available in the future.

Tracking performance on Bluesky is a critical aspect of the service. BlueSkyHunter’s dashboard offers a variety of metrics and charts, including total follower count, posts per month, engagement rates, growth rates, best posting times, top niches, topic engagement, and more. These metrics can be filtered by time frames such as the past day, week, month, three months, or all time.

In addition to personal analytics, BlueSkyHunter is working on tools to track competitors, focusing on business use cases. This will enable users to gain insights into their competitors’ strategies and performance on the platform.
