Samsung is working on maintaining its leading position in the foldable market by launching new innovative foldable smartphones. We anticipate the Galaxy Z Fold 7 to debut as the slimmest device in the lineup yet.

The Korean tech giant is expected to debut the seventh-generation foldable smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Galaxy Z Flip 7, in the second half of the year. Apart from these two devices, the company is also working on one more foldable device to debut this year, called Galaxy Z Flip FE.

A reliable tipster, @Kro_roe, suggests that Samsung is planning to downgrade the S Pen experience for the forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 to make it the slimmest fold model in the Galaxy lineup yet.

However, the tipster hasn’t mentioned detailed information regarding the downgrade the company is looking for. Since the fold series already lacks a dedicated S Pen holster, it seems that there shouldn’t be a lot of wiggle room in this area.

Samsung has yet to release any official statement regarding this report, so it remains to be seen whether the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have a downgraded S Pen. Recent reports suggest that Samsung will equip the Galaxy Z Fold 7 with an 8-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
