Samsung introduces a new feature with One UI 7 that will enable parents to monitor and manage the type of content their children are viewing through Samsung Internet and Galaxy Store apps, as reported in some recent news sources.

According to a report by Android Authority, a new feature has been integrated under parental controls in the Galaxy S25 smartphone, named Content Restrictions, which allows parents to control web content via the Samsung Internet app while also controlling app and game downloads from the Galaxy Store.

Parental Controls in One UI 7: What You Need to Know

The web content settings allow parents to control the types of websites allowed in Samsung Internet, while also providing the option to block explicit sites, including those with sexually explicit and violent content. Additionally, parents can set the maximum age restrictions for apps and games from the Galaxy Store, with options ranging from all ages to 18+.By integrating the Content Restrictions feature with One UI 7, Samsung aims to provide an enhanced and improved parental control capability, ensuring the safety and security of children’s online experiences. However, the current implementation of this feature is available only on Galaxy S25 models; it is expected to expand to other Samsung devices in the future.
