Sky Glass, a television all-in-one with a six-speaker soundbar and a 4K Quantum Dot Display, was released in late 2021. It is now being succeeded by the Sky Glass Gen 2. A significant improvement lies in the sound quality, featuring a seven-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system, including a new dual sub-woofer.

The second-generation Sky Glass model boasts a brighter 4K Quantum Dot display, a wider viewing angle and better contrast. It also features a newly designed stand, which only requires screws and clips to establish a secure connection. The TV is compatible with universal wall mounts.

Several items remain unchanged between the new and older model. The TV’s core offerings remain the same, filled with Sky Originals, Sky Exclusives and access to apps like BBC iPlayer and Netflix. The new model also retains the Playlist feature, which allows you to add your favorite shows and movies to their own tab. Additionally, it is still available in 43-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch models. However, the Gen 2 edition is now available in three new colors: Volcanic Grey, Arctic Silver and Atlantic Blue.
