While Samsung is the first to release the latest security patches, its Galaxy devices have started receiving the February 2025 security update in various regions around the world, beginning with the flagship devices in the S24 series. The update is now being rolled out to more eligible smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and Z Fold Special Edition.
It has been observed that Samsung’s February 2025 security update rollout has started for its foldable devices: Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and Z Fold Special Edition in South Korea, with plans to expand to additional regions shortly.
The newest update for the book-style foldables, the Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, can be identified with the F956NKSS2AYAA and F741NKSS2AYAA version numbers, while the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition comes with the F958NKSS2AYAA build number.

Although the latest February patch does not mention any major changes or features, it appears to prioritize system security by integrating numerous fixes from Google and Samsung, enhancing the overall device safety and security features to safeguard against potential threats while providing a more secure and stable user experience.

At the same time, the update also brings stability to the overall system behavior and functionality, offering an efficient and stable user experience while providing various performance optimizations.
