Streaming Deals: Are Savings Gone for Good?

Whether you’re a die-hard cord-cutter or just eager to catch up on the next season of Stranger Things, everyone is on the lookout for streaming deals these days. Many have opted for VOD (Video On Demand) and live TV streaming services over traditional cable in recent years, but the savings that choice once offered have somewhat disappeared. Companies like Netflix, Disney, Max, and others have consistently raised their prices for standalone streaming plans.

Rising Prices for Streaming Services

Companies like Discovery and Netflix have been raising their prices for all customers. Netflix, for example, has raised its subscription prices again, with its standard plan now costing $18 per month. This is a significant increase from previous years, making it more challenging for consumers to find affordable streaming options.

Paramount+ with Showtime: A New Option

However, there is a new streaming service that offers a more affordable option: Paramount+. With Showtime for $13 per month or $120 per year, this service includes everything in Paramount+’s Essential plan, except the ads, and also provides access to Showtime content, live CBS streams, and download features.
