Galaxy S25 Ultra Users Struggle with Mysterious Screen Glitch Issue

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which was launched just a month ago, has already started to experience a mysterious screen glitch issue. This issue has been reported by several users, who claim that the phone’s screen displays a thin horizontal line, primarily during the process of receiving the phone and waking up the screen before unlocking the device.

Pre-Order and Delivery Issues

The Galaxy S25 Ultra was made available for pre-order on January 22nd and was delivered to customers who placed orders between February 1st and 7th. However, some users have reported receiving defective devices, which have led to a range of problems, including the screen glitch issue.

User Reports on Reddit

Several users have taken to Reddit to share their experiences with the Galaxy S25 Ultra screen glitch issue. One user reported that Samsung delivered a defective device, which had a screen glitch. The user tested the device in Safe Mode, but a full factory reset did not resolve the issue, suggesting that the problem could be attributed to a hardware defect.

Another user reported a similar issue, where the display showcases vertical lines while using the camera while switching between different zoom levels using the Zoom Rocker UI. However, the glitch seemed to be a minor software issue, and the rest of the screen remained glitch-free.

Concerns Over Quality Control

The incidents reported by users raise concerns over the quality control of the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s initial batch. If the issues become widespread, they could result in customer dissatisfaction. Samsung has yet to introduce dedicated policies or any support system to address customers’ concerns and ensure that those affected by issues like screen glitches receive suitable solutions.
