The Adecco Group, in partnership with Microsoft, has announced the launch of a worldwide AI learning program, offering essential AI skills to job seekers at no cost.

As AI continues to transform the way people work, learn, and lead, this non-profit initiative aims to address the growing demand for AI skills and bridge the gap by providing access to a large-scale, global audience, including under-served communities and sectors. The program focuses on empowering individuals with untapped potential, promoting digital inclusion, and fostering a more diverse and future-ready workforce. The initial launch will take place in Switzerland, followed by a phased rollout globally.

AI has the potential to be a powerful catalyst for opportunity. It is our responsibility to ensure that AI skills are accessible to all, shaping the workforce of the future,” stated Denis Machuel, CEO of the Adecco Group. “AI can be a life-changing force, but only if everyone has equal access to it. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to making AI skills accessible, practical, and centered on human needs. By combining Microsoft’s learning platform with the Adecco Group’s global reach and workforce expertise, we are enabling people worldwide to build the confidence and capabilities required to succeed in the AI era.”

At Microsoft, we believe that access to AI skills should be universal and empowering, regardless of one’s starting point,” said Naria Santa Lucia, General Manager, Microsoft Elevate Skills. “Through our partnership with the Adecco Group, we are providing job seekers with the opportunity to develop the confidence and skills necessary to thrive in an AI-driven economy. With our Microsoft Elevate skills initiative and partners like the Adecco Group, we are opening doors for individuals from all backgrounds, equipping them with practical, future-ready skills to succeed in tomorrow’s workforce.”

This initiative provides free foundational AI skill development to all Adecco, LHH, and Akkodis candidates and associates worldwide. It enables real-world employability by equipping candidates with newly acquired AI skills on a large scale and connecting them to job opportunities through the Adecco Group’s workforce solutions.

Designed with a deep understanding of global candidate needs, the learning experience is flexible and modular, allowing participants to progress at their own pace. In addition to technical skills, the curriculum incorporates ethical AI literacy, teaching learners about AI systems, their risks, and responsible usage. This initiative goes beyond education, empowering individuals to thrive in the AI-driven future of work.

The Adecco Group engages with approximately 60 million candidates annually. Through this global program, job seekers, registered candidates, and associates can enhance their AI skills. Targeted outreach and organic engagement strategies ensure a meaningful impact.

The Adecco Group is committed to social mobility, inclusion, and equal access to opportunities, with the purpose of making the future work for everyone. Microsoft is dedicated to empowering people worldwide with AI skills for workforce readiness and new AI opportunities. These shared goals come together in this initiative to prepare candidates for the AI economy.
