Following last year’s sneak peek at Lestat’s transformation from the Brat Prince to a music idol, AMC returned to San Diego Comic-Con to unveil more details about Interview With the Vampire‘s third season.
The upcoming season, officially titled The Vampire Lestat, is based on the Anne Rice novel of the same name. It will feature Sam Reid’s character reacting to his portrayal in Daniel Molloy’s Interview With the Vampire book by setting the record straight through rock music. Before that, however, Lestat will be making a guest appearance in the third AMC/Anne Rice show, Talamasca. Check out the new footage below, which showcases Reid discussing Lestat’s journey, intertwined with behind-the-scenes footage of a rock star on tour.
The highly anticipated return of Lestat in The Vampire Lestat left the audience in awe, with new moments highlighting the upcoming season. The season will center around Lestat’s rockstar journey, with the Brat Prince vampire’s music being hypnotizing and potentially awakening Queen Akasha, also known as the Queen of the Damned, a crucial figure in Rice’s Lestat trilogy and the first vampire in existence, who is expected to become a major player in the show.
Interview With the Vampire season 3, The Vampire Lestat, is set to premiere on AMC in 2026.
