Tenable Holdings, Inc. Acquires Vulcan Cyber Ltd.

Exposure Management Company to Enhance Industry-Leading Platform

Tenable Holdings, Inc., a leading exposure management company, has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Vulcan Cyber Ltd., a leading innovator in exposure management. The acquisition is expected to enhance Tenable’s industry-leading Exposure Management platform, allowing customers to consolidate exposures across their security stack, prioritize risks, and streamline remediation efforts across the entire attack surface.

Terms of the Acquisition

Under the terms of the agreement, Tenable will acquire Vulcan Cyber for approximately $147 million in cash and $3 million of restricted stock units (RSUs) that vest over a future period. The acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions.

Enhanced Exposure Management Capabilities

The acquisition of Vulcan Cyber will augment Tenable’s Exposure Management platform, providing customers with enhanced capabilities to manage their exposure risks. This will enable them to better prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities, reducing the risk of cyber attacks and improving overall security posture.
