Samsung has initiated the rollout of the latest June 2025 security patch to additional eligible Galaxy smartphones, with foldables and tablets expected to follow suit soon. The Galaxy S24 series has also joined the security update party, alongside Galaxy S25 models.
The June 2025 security patch rollout is currently underway for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, starting in Samsung’s home country, South Korea, with the models carrying build numbers S921NKSS7BYE9, S926NKSS7BYE9, and S928NKSS7BYE9, respectively. A wider rollout of the update is anticipated soon.
Security patches primarily focus on enhancing the device’s security and core functionality. According to Samsung’s published details, the latest June 2025 security patch introduces a range of fixes from both Google and Samsung to address all security vulnerabilities, providing a more secure user experience and protecting devices against external threats and sophisticated harms.
Furthermore, the update adds stability and reliability to the system’s overall behavior, ensuring efficient functionality, and brings performance optimizations to offer a smoother and more stable device experience for users.
Samsung has successfully launched the One UI 8 beta program, with the first beta of the latest OS being tested by the Galaxy S25 family in India.
Additionally, One UI 8 beta 2 is also available for S25 models in South Korea, Germany, and the US. While the Galaxy S24 series is eligible for the One UI 8 beta, the rollout timeline for the S24 models has not been announced yet.
