In spite of the numerous challenges they face, Ukrainian entrepreneurs remain committed to establishing global companies. This determination is one of the reasons we established the Google for Startups Ukraine Support Fund, which initially had $5 million in funding in 2022 and has now been expanded to include an additional $10 million for 2024. The fund is designed to provide vital equity-free cash awards and dedicated support from Google, enabling founders to sustain and expand their businesses, foster a strong community, and lay the groundwork for post-war economic revival.

We are pleased to announce the newest and final cohort of the Google for Startups Ukraine Support Fund. In partnership with 1991, Ukraine’s pioneering and largest startup accelerator, the Google for Startups program has provided support to a total of 98 companies through equity-free funding and hands-on mentorship. Each recipient will continue to receive mentoring sessions and product support. The 35 ambitious companies in this cohort are driving remarkable technological advancements in areas such as medical research and AI, including:

Each selected startup will receive up to $100,000 in non-dilutive funding, ongoing mentorship from Google, product support, and up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits. Our aim is to equip these entrepreneurs with unique expertise, connections, and resources to adapt and expand despite the ongoing conflict. We are confident that these entrepreneurs, along with the others supported by this fund, will play a crucial role in driving their country’s economic recovery and leading the next generation of global tech innovators.
