With the recent announcement of Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, the fate of the Seven Kingdoms now rests in the hands of the players.

Check out the trailer from PlaySide Studios, the developer and publisher of Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, created in collaboration with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. This premium real-time strategy PC game features the likenesses of the HBO show’s stars in re-enactment style gameplay, allowing players to control pivotal plot moments, including deciding the fate of Jon Snow, who still remains unaware of the truth.

The title was announced during Summer Game Fest and is scheduled to release in 2026.

In Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, players will take control of the Great Houses of Westeros as they engage in dramatic battles, or command the Night King’s forces. The opportunity to alter the ending is extremely enticing; along the way, players can become their favorite characters in cinematic solo adventures or participate in thrilling free-for-all multiplayer battles in campaigns that can be completed well before George R.R.
