Prepare for a final trip to Hawkins, Indiana. Following a three-year wait since the conclusion of season four, Netflix has officially announced that the fifth and final season of Stranger Things will premiere this November, marking the beginning of a trilogy of releases.

Today, Netflix wrapped up its Tudum livestream event with a sneak peek at the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, confirming that the series will return to the platform on November 26, with a second volume scheduled for release on Christmas Day and the series finale on New Year’s Eve. A new teaser is available below, which primarily features footage from the previous four seasons and provides a brief glimpse into season 5.

The journey to uncovering even the smallest details about the eight episodes that will bring the supernatural streaming phenomenon to a close has been lengthy. Netflix previously revealed most of the episode titles last year, and the majority of what is known about the season suggests that it will take a longer approach to its conclusion, featuring blockbuster-length episodes that will guide Eleven and the gang through one final adventure as they strive to thwart Vecna and the Upside Down from invading reality.

As more information about Stranger Things‘ final season becomes available, we will provide updates.
