Sony Days of Play Sale Offers Discounts on PS5 Consoles and Games
The Sony Days of Play sale is now underway, featuring the first official price cut for the PS5 Pro console. The PS5 Pro has been discounted by $50, bringing its price down to $650 in the US, and this sale will run from May 28 to June 11. This is the first time Sony has discounted its Pro-level console, and retail partners like Amazon are also matching the discount.
Discounts on Consoles and Bundles
In addition to the PS5 Pro discount, there are other discounts on consoles in the US and Canada as part of the sale. A bundle of either the standard PS5 or Digital Edition with a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 starts at $400/$510 CAD (for the Digital Edition), which Sony says will save you $120/$160 CAD compared to buying them separately. The PS5 standard and digital versions will also be on sale in Europe and Asia, starting at €400/£340/¥65,980.
Accessories and Games on Sale
Accessories are also getting discounts, with savings on the PlayStation VR2, PlayStation VR2 and Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle, Pulse Explore earbuds, DualSense Edge controller, PlayStation Access controller, and the DualSense controller. Additionally, PS5 games are available for discounted prices, including MLB The Show 25, Astro Bot, and Lego Horizon Adventures. Other games like The Last of Us Part II, Assassin’s Creed titles, Grand Theft Auto V, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and Rebirth are also on sale.
PlayStation Plus Plans and Game Catalog
Some PlayStation Plus plans are 33 percent off for new subscribers, and upgrading to the Extra or Premium tiers may cost you a third less than usual. Sony is also adding an extra few games to the PS Plus Game Catalog for Extra, Premium, and Deluxe members, including Another Crab’s Treasure, Skull and Bones, Destiny 2: Legacy Collection, and Grand Theft Auto III. The latest batch of monthly PS Plus games includes Destiny 2: The Final Shape, NBA 2K25, Alone in the Dark, and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.
Classics Catalog and Game Trials
Two classic games, Myst and its sequel Riven, will be available to PS Plus Premium/Deluxe subscribers on June 5 at no extra cost. Premium/Deluxe subscribers will also have access to two more game trials from May 28: Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Sid Meier’s Civilization VII.
