The latest developments suggest that Samsung is on the verge of unveiling its next-generation smartwatch lineup, which includes the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. Both of these models have recently received 3C certification in China, indicating a potential launch in the near future.

It is worth noting that the Korean tech giant is actively working on its upcoming smartwatches, which are expected to be showcased at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2025, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. A few weeks ago, the forthcoming Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic appeared online with dedicated model numbers, generating significant interest among tech enthusiasts.

A recent report by Xpertpick has revealed that the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic have obtained 3C certification in China, hinting at an imminent launch. According to the report, Samsung plans to offer both models in multiple size options, catering to a wider range of consumers.

The 3C certification has been granted to both watches with the following model numbers:

  • Galaxy Watch 8 – SM-L3350
  • Galaxy Watch 8 Classic – SM-L5050

As per the certification, both models support LTE connectivity and 10W charging. Additionally, the company is expected to offer the EP-T1510 travel adapter. Although the certification does not provide detailed specifications, design, or features of the watches, it is anticipated that Samsung will introduce new innovations with its next-generation smartwatches.
