Samsung is preparing to launch its seventh-generation foldable smartphone, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which will undergo a significant overhaul of its four key components to create the most durable foldable phone in the Galaxy series yet.

The company is set to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 at the Unpacked event in early July 2025. Although Samsung has not released any official information about the upcoming foldable phones, tipsters and leakers have already begun sharing some key details, generating excitement among fans.

A tipster, Panda Flash, posted on X, revealing that Samsung is re-engineering four critical parts for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, specifically:

• Hinge Mechanism
• Inner Display Layering
• Vapor Chamber
• An All-New UTG

Previous reports have indicated that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature slimmer bezels around the inner display and an increased gap size between displays.

Samsung has recently introduced a new vapor chamber in the Galaxy S25 series, which is expected to be incorporated into the upcoming foldable phones. The UTG (Ultra Thin Glass) refers to a specialized type of glass used in foldable and rollable displays, offering a balance of thinness, durability, and flexibility. According to the tipster, Samsung will introduce a new UTG in the Galaxy Z Fold 7, making it a more durable and flexible foldable than its predecessor.

However, the tipster has not disclosed the specific changes to these four components in the Galaxy Z Fold 7, so it remains to be seen what innovations the company will introduce.
