Nintendo has finally announced the pre-order date for the Switch 2 console in the US and Canada. According to the company’s announcement, pre-orders for the Switch 2 will commence on April 24 in both regions. The prices for the console remain unchanged, with the Switch 2 alone costing $450 and the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle priced at $500, despite the imposition of tariffs.

However, Nintendo has stated that it will adjust the prices of Switch 2 accessories due to “market conditions.” The company noted that “other adjustments to the price of any Nintendo product are also possible in the future depending on market conditions.”

Nintendo also apologized for the delay in pre-orders and reiterated that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be widely available starting June 5.

In addition to purchasing directly from Nintendo, the Switch 2 will be available for pre-order from participating retailers when it becomes available. Retailers such as Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart, and Target will start pre-orders on April 24. Additionally, Source Link
