It appears that Microsoft and Bethesda are on the verge of officially announcing the long-awaited remake of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, assuming no unexpected twists occur. The publisher has scheduled a livestream for Tuesday, April 21 at 11AM ET, which can be viewed on YouTube or by clicking the play button on the above video at the designated time.

Although Bethesda has not explicitly stated the purpose of the stream, the YouTube video title “All will be revealed…” and the accompanying teaser image, featuring the “IV” logo and face shield, provide a strong indication of what to expect. Notably, the logo does not match the font used in Diablo IV.

Given the evidence, it is highly likely that this announcement is indeed related to the Oblivion remake, which has been rumored to be in development for years. Recently, screenshots from the game were recently spotted on developer Virtuos’ website. Reports suggest that the remake will be released on PC, Xbox Series X/S (including Game Pass), and PS5 this week, so fans of the Elder Scrolls series may want to free up space on their system storage. It will be interesting to see if a Skyrim remake follows suit.
