Star Wars Celebration is set to return to Los Angeles for the first time since 2006, marking the franchise’s 50th anniversary in 2027. The original film, Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, which was initially released as Star Wars, first hit theaters in 1977, and the rest, as they say, is history. The location for the 2027 celebration was announced during the closing ceremony of this year’s event, which took place in Japan. The Star Wars Celebration 2027 is scheduled to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from April 1 to April 4, 2027.

It was also confirmed that Ryan Gosling will star in a film called Star Wars: Starfighter, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Furthermore, a Fortnite collaboration was announced, with the Galactic Battle season set to begin on May 2, introducing Darth Jar Jar to Fortnite.
