Nintendo has finally announced the date when gamers in the US and Canada can start placing orders for the Switch 2 console. The company announced that pre-orders for the Switch 2 will begin on April 24 in both the US and Canada. The price of the console remains unchanged, despite the introduction of tariffs, with the Switch 2 console alone costing $450 and the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle costing $500.

However, Nintendo has stated that it will be adjusting the prices of Switch 2 accessories due to “market conditions.” The company also noted that “other adjustments to the price of any Nintendo product are also possible in the future depending on market conditions” in its press release.

Nintendo has also apologized for the delay in pre-orders and confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be widely available starting June 5.
