Samsung has recently unveiled its latest Galaxy Tab S10 FE series, which boasts an impressive design, robust specifications, and cutting-edge features, albeit without a Bluetooth S Pen.

In a recent announcement, the South Korean tech giant revealed an affordable Galaxy Tab S10 FE series, comprising the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE+. This series succeeds the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, which also came with a basic S Pen lacking Bluetooth functionality, similar to the newly launched tablets.

Following the controversy surrounding the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen, there were expectations that Samsung would provide a Bluetooth S Pen with the latest tablet series. However, the S Pen without Bluetooth functionality omits several convenient features, such as Air Actions and remote camera shutter control.

The reason behind this decision is to make the Galaxy Tab S10 FE models slimmer, lighter, and more affordable than their predecessors. By removing the Bluetooth S Pen functionality, a move that started with the Galaxy Tab S9 FE last year and continued with the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung appears to be gradually phasing out this feature.

The above discussion suggests that the next-generation Galaxy S26 may also lack a Bluetooth S Pen. Although it was previously reported that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could be the last S-series Ultra model to feature a built-in S Pen, there has been no official confirmation. It remains to be seen whether Samsung will continue to offer this functionality in future flagship devices or discontinue it altogether.
