Expansion of Immersive Ads

We are pleased to announce the expansion of Immersive Ads to a wider range of publishers across both AdMob and Ad Manager. Furthermore, we have established a partnership with Roblox. The primary purpose of Immersive Ads is to enable publishers to generate revenue by providing advertisers with an opportunity to engage with users through relevant and captivating content in real-time.

How Immersive Ads Work

Immersive Ads are seamlessly integrated into the gaming experience. For instance, they can appear as billboard ads in a virtual city or as advertisements on the big screen during a virtual football game. These ads blend in naturally with the game environment, thereby enhancing the overall gaming experience. Since the initial testing of Immersive Ads last year, we have made significant improvements to simplify the implementation process and have introduced video formats, which has opened up more opportunities for both publishers and advertisers.

Partnership with Roblox

The newly formed partnership between Roblox and Ad Manager serves as the foundation for Roblox’s immersive advertising strategy. This partnership will enable Roblox to scale Rewarded Video and other immersive formats to brands over the coming weeks and months.
