Hillary Clinton, the former US Secretary of State, has officially joined Bluesky, a move that follows in the footsteps of former President Barack Obama, who recently made his inaugural post on the platform. Clinton has confirmed the authenticity of her Bluesky account through an Instagram story and a post on X.

In her introductory Bluesky post, Clinton addressed the upcoming Wisconsin Supreme Court election, scheduled to take place on Tuesday. This state judicial race is garnering unprecedented attention from both sides of the political spectrum, as the outcome will determine the political leaning of the swing state’s court and subsequently impact rulings on key issues such as abortion rights and redistricting.

Elon Musk is alleged to have invested over $20 million in the campaign of Republican candidate Brad Schimel. Notably, Musk had also contributed around $250 million to Trump’s 2024 campaign. Following a strategy similar to the one employed during Trump’s presidential run, Musk provided two Schimel supporters with checks for $1 million each.

As Elon Musk, the owner of X, becomes increasingly involved with the Trump administration, Bluesky continues to emerge as a viable alternative social platform for individuals disillusioned with Musk’s political stance and the perceived shift of X to the right.

Although Bluesky’s user base is smaller than that of the platform previously known as Twitter, the open-source network boasts over 33 million users. However, with high-profile figures like Clinton and Obama joining the platform, Bluesky is steadily building its credibility as a competitor to X.
