Apple has launched the latest updates for its operating systems, including iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, macOS 15.4, and visionOS 2.4. These updates bring a range of new features to Apple devices, while also expanding the reach of Apple Intelligence to new countries and languages.

As previously announced by Apple, the updates to iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS 15.4 introduce several notable features. These include a new Apple News+ Food section within the News app, which offers a collection of recipes and food-related articles, including exclusive content for Apple News+ subscribers. Additionally, the updates bring new emoji, AI-sorted Priority Notifications in the Notification Center, new photo filtering options in the Photos app, and lossless audio support for the AirPods Max. Other quality-of-life features include:

• An Ambient Music tool accessible from the Control Center

• The ability to integrate and control Matter-compatible robot vacuums within the Home app

• New widgets designed for the Podcasts app

• A new “Sketch” style for images in the Image Playground

The update to visionOS 2.4 is notable for introducing Apple Intelligence features such as Writing Tools and Image Playground to the Vision Pro for the first time. This update also streamlines the process of sharing the headset with others, introduces a new Apple Vision Pro app for iPhones to remotely download apps and experiences, and includes a Spatial Gallery app featuring a curated collection of spatial videos and photos that rotate over time.

Following a brief delay, Apple has announced that Apple Intelligence will become available in the European Union for the first time on iPhones and iPads. Additionally, this suite of AI features will now support multiple languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (simplified), along with localized English for Singapore and India, as stated by Apple.
