CES 2025: A Year of Innovation and Excitement

CES has always been a premier destination for discovering the latest and greatest in technology, gadgets, and innovative products. Although the timing of this event can be a bit inconvenient, coming so soon after the holidays, I have to admit that I eagerly look forward to it every year. This year’s show was particularly notable for its focus on AI, exercise and health equipment, PCs, and robotics.

I won’t be doing a Product of the Week this week, as each of the products I’ll be highlighting could easily qualify, and given their significant differences from one another, it would be challenging to pick a winner.

Let’s start with the product that has captured my attention the most.

Bodyfriend 733 Massage Chair

The Bodyfriend 733 Massage Chair is an impressive piece of technology that has left me in awe. As someone who already owns a massage chair at home and has even installed massage seats in my car, I was excited to see how this product would compare. While neither of these solutions has come close to replicating a real massage, the Bodyfriend 733 Massage Chair is a significant step in the right direction. With a price tag of $20,000, it’s certainly an investment, but for those who value their relaxation and well-being, it may be worth considering.

While the Bodyfriend 733 Massage Chair is an impressive piece of technology, it’s not without its limitations. However, for those who are willing to invest in their well-being, it may be worth considering.

Realbotix Melody

Realbotix’s Melody is a humanoid robot that has left me in awe. With a price tag of $175,000 to $200,000, it’s certainly an investment, but for those who value the latest advancements in robotics, it may be worth considering. The Melody is a full-bodied robot that can walk and act like a human, although it may be on the wrong side of the uncanny valley. While it’s not yet indistinguishable from a human, it’s a significant step in the right direction.

Realbotix’s Melody is a testament to the advancements that have been made in robotics and AI. While it’s not yet perfect, it’s a significant step in the right direction.

Wrapping Up

CES 2025 was an impressive show this year, with a wide range of innovative products on display. From robots that can help with recovery, exercise, and companionship, to fantastic PCs for gaming, productivity, and creating AI, CES had it all. The show was a testament to the rapid pace of technological advancements, and I couldn’t wait to see what next year would bring.

I’m looking forward to next year’s show, and I hope that our AI and robotic future will be amazing. Who knows, maybe John Connor will finally start preparing for the future.

Happy New Year everyone!
