Spotify introduced a new personalized playlist on Wednesday, designed to make it easier for users to discover upcoming concerts in their area.

The “Concerts Near You” playlist is updated weekly, every Wednesday, and features 30 tracks from artists who are scheduled to perform locally, along with details about the events and links to purchase tickets. This is made possible through Spotify’s partnerships with ticketing platforms such as AXS, DICE, Eventbrite, and Ticketmaster.

Similar to other personalized playlists like “Daylist” and the various “Mixes” on Spotify, “Concerts Near You” is customized based on users’ listening habits, allowing them to discover new artists they might enjoy.

To stay up-to-date with the latest concert information, users are advised to share their location through the “Live Events” section, which can be found under the Search tab in the Spotify app. Additionally, enabling push notifications and following favorite artists will provide users with personalized reminders about upcoming shows.

The launch of “Concerts Near You” highlights Spotify’s goal of making event discovery a more integral part of the overall user experience, while also increasing visibility for artists.

This announcement comes on the heels of Spotify’s annual “Loud & Clear” report, which provides detailed information about the platform’s payments to artists. Notably, the report revealed that for the first time, an artist who received one stream for every million streams on the platform earned an average of over $10,000 in 2024, addressing concerns about artist compensation.
