Recent research has revealed that both Android devices and iPhones are at a significantly higher risk of malware infection once they have been "jailbroken" or "rooted". Specifically, the data indicates that these devices are approximately 3.5 times more likely to be infected with malware and a staggering 250 times more likely to be completely compromised.
