Introduction

The fintech industry experienced rapid growth during the pandemic but had a challenging year in 2024. This was marked by significant events such as the shutdown and subsequent acquisition of accounting startup Bench. Despite the slowdown in funding, many fintech companies continue to grow and expand their teams.

Current State of Fintech Hiring

To understand the scope of fintech hiring, a call was put out for companies that are currently hiring. The response was overwhelming, with over 60 companies responding within a few days. While revisiting this several months later, it was found that many fintechs are still hiring, although the number of open roles may have decreased for some.
