Samsung has commenced the rollout of the second beta update for the Android 15-based One UI 7 build for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 models!
Following the recent release of the One UI 7 Beta 5 update for the Galaxy S24 series, which introduced several key fixes and improvements, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 are now receiving their second beta update of the Android 15-based software skin!
Currently, the second beta update of One UI 7 software for Samsung’s 6th-gen foldables is available in two out of four countries, including India and South Korea. The update is expected to be expanded to the other two regions, the UK and the US, shortly. The 2nd beta, or the One UI 7 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, carries the ZYC7 and ZYC8 build numbers, respectively.

This latest beta software has a package size of 699.94MB and brings numerous bug fixes, as well as the integration of the March 2025 security patch, which will provide a smooth, safe, and secure user experience.

The update resolves several issues, including the battery widget overlapping problem, screen stuttering when the home key is operated, screen refresh rate guide error while gaming, calendar widget size not changing, camera quick control button being shifted to the left, media icon behavior error, and many other improvements.
Now that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 foldables have started receiving the One UI 7 beta 2 update, owners are advised to install the latest build on their devices as soon as it becomes available.
