The Gemini app has empowered the institution with private and secure generative AI at scale, complete with essential safety protections.

At Wake Forest University, administrative staff are utilizing Gemini in Meet to take notes during meetings, allowing them to be more present. The provost’s office is also using NotebookLM to summarize documents and conduct analysis that informs university policies, as well as Gemini in Sheets for efficient large-scale data analysis. CIO and vice president for IT, Mur Muchane, notes that "colleagues in finance reported that Gemini saved them hours of analysis time, reducing an eight-hour task to just 30 minutes."

San Diego State University is providing students with real-time study assistance, writing support, streamlined research, and interactive learning through Gemini and NotebookLM. Faculty are also utilizing these tools to optimize lectures, increase student engagement, and accelerate research. According to CIO and VP for information technology, Dr. James P. Boise State University’s marketing and communication professionals are using Gemini to generate ideas and inspire content creation. Executive Director of Learning Technology Solutions and Research Computing, Leif Nelson, comments that "since we already use Google for email, document management, and presentations, it was a natural decision to utilize Gemini, given its ease of integration with our existing environments and workflows."
