Samsung Electronics has unveiled a premium home projector, ‘The Premiere 5’, which features touch interaction capabilities, in its native South Korea.
Initially, the Korean tech giant had showcased the newly launched 4K laser ultra-short-throw projector at the CES 2025 in Las Vegas, USA, earlier this year, and it is now available for purchase in its home country.
The Premiere 5 boasts a triple-laser ultra-short-throw image projection system that supports 4K resolution, enabling it to display up to a 100-inch image (diagonal) from a distance of approximately 43cm using triple laser technology.
Samsung has incorporated five notable features into the latest projector, including:
- Triple Laser, Ultra Short Throw, Touch-based interaction, Vision Booster, and Compact design.

These five features combine to provide an enhanced user experience, transforming ordinary spaces into immersive content spaces. The Premiere 5’s Vision Booster technology automatically adjusts contrast, color, and brightness to deliver clear picture quality, based on the surrounding brightness. Additionally, it allows users to connect and control various smart devices in their home, such as lights, air purifiers, and TVs, via SmartThings.

Customers in South Korea can purchase ‘The Premiere 5’ for 1.99 million won. Heon Lee, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, commented, “The Premiere 5 is a lifestyle-centric product designed to enable immersive experiences anytime, anywhere, beyond content.”
