Variety<\/a> reports that Simon Rex and Natalie Lind will star in the horror-comedy Halloween Store<\/em>, produced by Keenan Thompson. The film follows a group trapped in a costume store on Halloween night, facing off against a shadowy killer. Shane Dax Taylor is set to direct.<\/p>\n\n

The House of the Dead<\/h2>\n

In an interview with Variety<\/a>, Paul W.S. Anderson revealed that his House of the Dead<\/em> film will unfold in real-time, much like the Sega rail shooter that inspired it.<\/p>\n

The film will be immersive and terrifying, playing out in real-time, just like the game. The only time it stops is when you beat the game or die. That’s the only way out. The script is almost complete, and we’re aiming to start shooting in the fourth quarter of this year.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

George R.R. Martin spoke with Collider about the tone of HBO’s adaptation of the Dunk and Egg<\/em> novellas, which will differ from his other Song of Ice and Fire<\/em> adaptations.<\/p>\n

I’ve seen the first season of Dunk and Egg<\/em>, and it’s great. They’re working on the second season now. These characters are special to me, and they’re unusual. The tone is a bit softer and more humorous. I hope the audience will be open to this change.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
