The model is expected to launch under Amazon&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2024\/12\/03\/amazon-announces-nova-a-new-family-of-multimodal-ai-models\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nova brand<\/a> as early as June, following its introduction at the re:Invent developer conference last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These so-called reasoning models employ a step-by-step approach to answering queries, which enhances their reliability in fields such as math and science.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the report, Amazon plans to implement a &#8220;hybrid&#8221; reasoning architecture for its new model, similar to <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/02\/24\/anthropic-launches-a-new-ai-model-that-thinks-as-long-as-you-want\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Anthropic&#8217;s Claude 3.7 Sonnet<\/a>. If successful, this approach could enable the model to provide both rapid answers and more complex, extended thinking within a single system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amazon also aims to make its Nova reasoning model more cost-efficient than its competitors, as claimed by Business Insider.
