Last year, the regulatory body Ofcom <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2024\/05\/01\/uk-regulator-investigates-onlyfans-for-age-verification-failures-around-porn-access\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">initiated an investigation<\/a> into OnlyFans due to alleged failures in age verification, although it <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/technology\/uks-ofcom-drops-probe-into-under-age-access-onlyfans-2025-02-04\/\" target=\"_blank\">terminated this investigation<\/a> last month.
