Brin emphasized that working 60 hours a week is a “sweet spot” for maximizing productivity.

Although Brin’s memo does not represent an official policy change for Google, which currently requires employees to work from the office three days a week, it highlights the intense pressure that Silicon Valley giants are under to stay competitive in the AI landscape. Furthermore, the memo suggests that Brin is confident in Google’s ability to develop AGI, a highly advanced AI system that rivals human intelligence.

As reported, Brin has recently returned to Google with the goal of helping the company regain its footing in the AI race. Google was initially caught off guard by OpenAI’s 2022 release of ChatGPT, but has since been working tirelessly to catch up, unveiling state-of-the-art AI models of its own.

Source Link

This week, Google co-founder Sergey Brin issued a memo to employees, encouraging them to spend at least every weekday in the office to boost the company’s chances of winning the…

[47
103
post-7678","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-news","tag-google
["GET
