Supernatural<\/em> enthusiasts have reason to celebrate: the beloved trio is reuniting on the Prime Video series<\/a>, The Boys<\/em>. The news was announced through a post on X<\/a> by Jensen Ackles, who plays Soldier Boy in The Boys<\/em>, as he called upon his former Supernatural<\/em> co-stars to assemble once more. Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins promptly responded to the call. Although their roles in the final season of The Boys<\/em> have not been disclosed, their involvement is undoubtedly exciting.<\/p>\n

Ackles initiated the reunion by saying, \u201cHey, Jared. We got work to do\u2026again,\u201d in the video.<\/p>\n

Padalecki responded, \u201cOkay. I\u2019ll tell Misha,\u201d as the \u201967 Impala appears in the background, before passing the message to Collins, saying, \u201cMisha, we got work to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Collins smiled, gave a thumbs up, and replied, \u201cOkay! What are we doing?\u201d<\/p>\n

The trio previously starred in the CW series Supernatural<\/em>, where Ackles and Padalecki portrayed the Winchester brothers, who were drawn into a life of monster hunting, similar to their parents. During their adventures, they befriended Collins\u2019 character, Castiel, an angel who became like a part of their family.<\/p>\n

The confirmation of Padalecki and Collins joining The Boys<\/em> for its last season leaves room for speculation. One possibility is that they might engage in some over-the-top violence, potentially leading to the demise of one or more characters at each other’s hands. Alternatively, they could be setting the stage for their own spin-off within the universe. Eric Kripke, the creator of both Supernatural<\/em> and The Boys<\/em><\/a>, recently mentioned that the show’s team is working on multiple spin-offs and is being cautious with their decisions.
