However, OpenAI plans to make Operator available across all ChatGPT clients in the future. The tool operates in a separate browser window, which users can control at any time, to complete tasks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The market for AI agents is highly competitive, with companies like <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2024\/12\/11\/google-unveils-project-mariner-ai-agents-to-use-the-web-for-you\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Google<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2024\/10\/22\/anthropics-new-ai-can-control-your-pc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Anthropic<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/615990\/rabbit-ai-agent-demonstration-lam-android-r1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Rabbit<\/a> developing agents that can perform similar tasks.
