The game&#8217;s developers, Innersloth and Schell Games, have now announced plans to rework the title for traditional PC players, renaming it <a data-i13n=\"cpos:2;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/schellgames.com\/blog\/among-us-3d-announcement\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:as Among Us 3D;cpos:2;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Among Us 3D<\/a>. This new version can be played without a VR headset and will be <a data-i13n=\"cpos:3;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/3168600\/Among_Us_3D\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:available on Steam soon;cpos:3;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">available on Steam<\/a> in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>The core gameplay of the original remains intact in <em>Among Us 3D<\/em>, but it now features a first-person perspective. Essentially, it offers a new way to sabotage your friends and family. The game supports four to ten players and includes native proximity voice chat, eliminating the need for a third-party platform. While this may be disappointing, it&#8217;s understandable given the differences between the versions. However, the game will offer an expanded costume selection, allowing for &#8220;an endless number of cosmetic customization combinations.&#8221; A new in-game currency, Stardust, will presumably be used to purchase these outfits.<\/p>\n<p>A specific release date for <em>Among Us 3D<\/em> has not been announced, aside from it being &#8220;soon.&#8221; However, a demo will be available to US players during <a data-i13n=\"cpos:4;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/valve-steam-next-fest-221549148.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Steam Next Fest;cpos:4;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Steam Next Fest<\/a>, which runs from February 24 to March 3.
